All the Legendary Pokémons in Pokémon Black & White
In the very succesfull game serie Pokémon, there are always ‘Legendary Pokémons’. You can catch them only once, and normally they are one of the best Pokémons you can get.
For the Legendary Pokémons: You have two different types, Stationary Legendaries and Roaming Legendaries. I will explain first where to catch the Stationary Pokémons (because it is easier).
Location: Liberty Island.
How to catch?: Victini is the first Legendary Pokémon you can encounter on your trip. You can only get Victini by obtaining and using the Liberty Pass (which can be obtained at a Nintendo event) If you have the Liberty Pass, you should go to Castelia City and enter one of the boats which are there. This boat will take you to the Liberty Island. Before you can catch Victini, you have to fight a few Team Plasma members in order to get to Victini. At the end, Victini will be waiting for you on level 15.
Victini is a Psychic-Fire Pokémon
#2 & #3 Reshiram and Zekrom
Location: N’s Castle/DragonSpiral Tower.
Probally, the next Legendary Pokémon you will encounter is Reshiram (Pokémon Black) or Zekrom (Pokémon White). You can catch the one which is corresponding to your version after you have completed/beaten the Elite Four. Reshiram and Zekrom cannot be captured (for some reason) in their shiny appearances.
They will be waiting for you on level 50, and Reshiram is a Dragon-Fire Pokémon and Zekrom is a Dragon-Electric Pokémon
Location: Mistralton Cave
When you get the HM Surf, you can go to several new places. At this new place, you can catch another Legendary Pokémon named Cobalion.
Go to the Mistralton Cave on route 6 and find a man who’s talking about three legendary Pokémons and he will tell you about them and then tell you that there is one at the end of this cave. Go to the end of the cave, and find Cobalion.
Cobalion will be waiting for you on level 42. He is a Steel-Fight Pokémon.
Location: Victory Road
First you have to do the things which are explained in the above text (#4 Cobalion). Then you’ll have to go near to the top of the Victory Road, there you’ll find a new cave has opened. You will need strenght to reach this Pokémon.
Terrakion will be waiting for you on level 42, and it’s a Rock-Fight Pokémon.
Location: Pinwheel Forest
After you have caught Cobalion, you will have access to a new part of Pinwheel Forest. Go to the easten part of the Forest, and you will find Virizion.
Virizion will be waiting on you at level 42, it is a Grass-Fighting Pokémon.
Location: Abundant Shrine
When you have captured and traded with a friend to get both Tornadus and Thundurus, take them both to the Abundant Shrine off Route 14. At this shrine, when you go and interact with it with the two Pokémon in your team, the Ground-Flying Landorus will swoop down and battle you.
He will be at level 70 and he is a Ground-Flying type.
Location: Giant Chasm
In my opinion, Kyurum is the coolest of them all :) Go to the north of Route 13, you’ll find a new area called the Giant Chasm. When you enter, this area is filled with forestry, but when you come near the lake in the middle, you’ll hear a screech and the whole area flash freezes. Go to the north and you’ll find the Dragon-Ice Pokémon Kyurem in a cave.
As I told you, Kyurem is a Dragon-Ice Pokémon, and it will be at level 75.
Roaming Legendary Pokémons:
The second type of Legendary Pokémon we are covering here are the Roaming Legends. These Pokémon are the Pokémon that, when they are released, will be roaming the wild areas of the regions. In Black and White, there is no set way to find them. However, you will know when they are in your area as the whole area will be hit by incredibly heavy rain. To get them to definitely appear, you should have a Pokémon one level lower than the Roamer and above the levels of the usual wild Pokémon and use Repel so only it comes. The first thing the Pokémon does is flee so you should use a Pokémon with a move or ability that prevents Pokémon from fleeing away, like in the older versions a Golbat.
Location: Roaming all over the Unova Region
After you have all eight badges and head to Route 10, you’ll be informed of a weird weather pattern in Route 7. Head there and continue on until you reach the second house. After being invited into a house, when you leave, you’ll get confronted by Thundurus and he’ll fly off. From this point, he will start roaming the areas of Unova. In the mornings, he will appear in the southern routes and in the evenings he’ll appear in the northern routes. He only appears in Pokémon White.
Thundurus is an Electric-Flying Pokémon, you will meet him at level 40.
