Stokke Xplory Review 2011
If you’re about to become a parent the first time or you have a new baby on the way then you’ve probably started to think about what sort of baby buggy you will want to buy. Baby buggies have come a long way over the last few years and there is now a baby buggy to help you in any environment which you may come up against. Whether you are in the city centre and trying to navigate getting in and out of the shops and around other shoppers, or if you’re in the countryside and you’re trying to push your buggy over rough terrain, help is now at hand.
In this review we will be looking at the Stokke Xplory buggy which is the higher price point end of the spectrum and is seen as more of a luxury buggy. The Stokke Xplory is the type of buggy that you would see celebrities pushing their babies in.
One of the first things that you notice about the Stokke Xplory is its unique design, it’s unlike anything else on the marketplace at the moment. The Xplories design allows for the child to be placed a lot higher than you see with most normal buggies and strollers. This allows for closer contact for the baby and parent and also helps with the parents posture as they are did not having to lean over to check that their baby is ok. Other great advantages of having your baby higher from the ground is that they are kept away from things like dogs, shopping and city dust.
Another great feature about this buggy is just how light it is, the Stokke Xplory weighs in at and around 10.5kg which allows you to be able to control this buggy very easily, it can be set up and carried without any problems which can save a lot of stress and hassle for a mother or father when out shopping for example.
The Xplory buggy also folds down very tightly and fits nicely in the back of most cars, example I have a Renault Clio and the buggy fitted easily into the boot without any problems.
Manoeuvrability is a key point when choosing a new baby buggy and for me the takes full marks as it’s one of the easiest buggies to manoeuvre, I found it so easy to push our thanks to the wheels you can turn a buggy on a sixpence, so it’s great in those tight spaces when you find yourself shopping. Speaking of the wheels unlike a lot of buddies these wheels are not inflatable so they will never puncture, there is nothing worse than taking your baby out for a walk and getting a puncture in your tyre, with the Stokke this will never happen.
To sum up our Stokke xplory review, not only is this buggy one of the most stylish on the high Street and will turn heads wherever you go but is also one of the most comfortable, the ride on the Xplory is so smooth that it will have your baby asleep in minutes and you will love just how easy this buggy is the push. With a great range of stylish colours and accessories available the Stokke Xplory really is the Rolls-Royce of strollers.
