We all have things that we want to accomplish with our time. Each person might have a different goal on what they want to achieve in life. One person might want to build a business while someone else might want to get good at a sport.

Regardless of what you want to accomplish one thing is clear. You will never get anywhere if you waste your time away not doing your work.

The more time you spend surfing the web or watching T.V. the less you will have to show for it and your future will not look so bright. The only solution is to start managing your time now, so that you will be in a much better situation a year from now then you are now. That is easier said than done though. It is let the day go by and wonder what happened to all of the things you wanted to do.

It can be easy to procrastinate or to simply feel overwhelmed with what you have to do that day.

So, how do you accomplish what it is you actually want to accomplish in life? We’ll here is a three step process that you can take.

Step 1: Stop Procrastinating

The biggest killer of success is procrastination. We say we are going to do something later, but later never does seem to come. The more we put off something the less likely it is that we are going to do it.

While I can go on and on about how to stop procrastination the best way to stop it is by simply doing your work first and having your free time after you work. While it can be hard to get in the habit of working hard in the beginning of the day, it becomes easier and easier once you are used to it.

Step 2: Manage Your Time

Some people probably wonder, why is time management important?  The answer to this question is simply because we only have a limited amount of time. If you truly want to get everything that you want to get done in the 24 hour day you are going to have to make a schedule and stick to it.

This way you know where your time is going throughout the day.

Step 3: Stick To The Plan

Once you have a schedule written up the next plan is to stick to that schedule. Of course not everything will go according to plan. You might give yourself an hour to accomplish one task and it might only take you 40 minutes.

In that case it would be a judgment call whether you want to take a 20 minute break or start on the next thing and keep the momentum going. It is just important that you have something to act as your guide throughout the day. This way you know you are not leaving anything out and you will accomplish everything you set out to during the day.
